Flame of Faith
There are a number of ways one may make a gift to the Flame of Faith campaign.
Listed below are some creative giving options.
Online Payments

Priority Budgeting
Many families will choose to rearrange their priorities and give up something in their budget in order to give to the Flame of Faith campaign. Priority budgeting may lead to postponing or adjusting a planned expenditure such as a new car, a vacation, or home remodeling.
Re-channeling a Present Expenditure
Many families incur short-term heavy expenditures for special needs. For instance, some families have heavy expenses while their children attend college. They learn to budget their money during those years to cover those costs. When their children were graduating, they would give what they had been spending on college education to the Flame of Faith campaign.
Gifts of Unexpected Cash
In addition to a regular pledge period commitment, several people give unexpected cash. Many people give their income tax refunds as a part of their commitment.
Gifts from Increase in Income
Some people have incremental salary increases or bonuses in their employment contracts. You may wish to include these anticipated salary increases in your commitment.
Gifts of Accumulated Cash
Some people save money over a period of years for a special occasion or project. You may choose to share all or some of your “dream” savings to the campaign.
Gifts of Valuable Real and Personal Property
One couple may give a late model car. Others may give jewelry or other valuable property. An unencumbered piece of real estate that is readily saleable can be a great gift to the campaign.
Gifts of Stocks and Bonds
Stock gifts can be very advantageous to both the donor and the Flame of Faith campaign. A tax attorney or tax accountant can advise you about the most beneficial way to make the transfer.
Gifts of Life Insurance
Some people accumulate cash in insurance policies which can be given in support of the campaign.
